Just trying to close out of a level can now prompt an inescapable ad. However, starting maybe six months ago or so ads are now shoved down your throat randomly when you finish levels - regardless of whether you win or not. It used to be that ad content was only required when you opted to watch a video for a boost or some other bonus. However, I’ve been enjoying the game less and less due to ad proliferation. There is a *bit* of a cringe factor with the various racially/ethnically/culturally stereotyped sub-characters that appear for special events, but maybe I’m just being too woke. In general the game is fun and the art and characters are fun and high quality. I’ve been playing this game on and off for a couple years. All the changes we bring to the game are supposed to make the game more interesting and entertaining. We're sorry to hear you feel this way about the game. UNLESS!!! you get rid of the stupid bombs. Too bad.it’s been my absolute favorite until now. I play this for fun, but since the bombs make me rush this game has lost its appeal. Ok, I’m at the point where every house’s puzzle contains bombs. It’s fun again! Admittedly, I’ve only revisited one of my bomb-riddled houses to find the puzzle was modified and the bombs are gone.but that gives me hope!! The below was my original rant. Yay! The geniuses who created this game have taken pity upon me, Whiner Extraordinaire, and tweaked the game to allow a few more wins to keep me happy and interested. All the same, I’m taking a star off for the outrageous number of ads. I can understand having to watch an advertisement when attempting to get bonus objects, but those that pop in to regular play…too many! Does anyone actually read these things? I use that time to fetch a fresh cuppa. But, ever the optimist, I still play it daily. Review number 3: This is still my go-to game, and I don’t think I’m ever going to finish the first set of houses and get to Darkville.
